I have a problem with my camera itsa a cyber shot, sony, and it says Carl Zeiss?
its being retarded and i need it for friday everytime i turn it on it takes forever and ten its says turn the power off and on again, and then i did it but everytime i turn it on again it says the same thing ive been repeating the process for more than 100 times.is theire anyway i can fix this?
It's very likely it's broken. If the lens was jammed while attempting to turn it on, the gears may be stripped or a gear tooth broken. This could happen if the power button were accidentally pressed while in the case or in a pocket. It could also happen if the camera were dropped or if it hit something.
The only hope is that the batteries are low. If a fresh set of batteries don't fix it, it is most likely toast. Get a new camera because fixing this one will probably cost $100-$200.
