Steve Fossett's plane has been found - but he hasn't...?
Steve Fossett's plane has been found...but he has not - yet. Was he alone on the plane? If his body is not found in the plane wreckage, could it be possible he survived the crash, but later died due to either injury or exposure? How rugged is the terrain (near Mammoth Lake I believe) in the area? What do you think happened to Fossett?
What happens anytime a big animal dies in the woods. Um, he's a few gnawed bones fragments scattered over several acres. Professional searchers will search for them no doubt. Hopefully he died quick in the crash, God rest his soul.
